The management of the abia state college of education technical arochukwu has sacked a total number of 146 non academic staffs from the college.
This was disclosed yesterday 04/11/2019 at about 2:45pm when it was posted on various departmental notice boards…
During a little intetraction between our news personel and the sacked staffs (Mr. Nwosu) he said that the school management can not just wake up one morning and decide to sack it workers, knowing fully well they are indebted to them (of about 25months unpaid salaries)
He further said, it is the role of the management to give them atleast 3months notice before the termination of their apointments hence it is government work…
He expressed his bitterness where the provost is, saying that it was never in the regime of Mr. Nto that he was employed so he dont see any reason it will be in his regime that his apointment will now be terminated…
Stating that the Provost only came to the school to destroy and go then leave the sufferness for the incoming provost hence his tenure will finish on the 4th of march 2020.
So he is doing his possible best to close down the school before he leaves.
He moreover mentioned some past provosts saying that the school never experienced this extent of hardship and non payment of salaries…
He called on Arochukwu people to do something about the evil plan that the provost has for the college before he accomplishes his aim on that college, knowing fully well that all his plans for the school is downfall.
